Martin Rodriguez received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law in 2009. While attending law school, Mr. Rodriguez interned at both the Texas Supreme Court and the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston, where he assisted in drafting opinions. In addition to these internships, Mr. Rodriguez also served as a research assistant for a Texas Civil Procedure professor and became certified as a mediator in Texas.
Mr. Rodriguez’ practice focuses primarily in the area of labor and employment law, representing employers before state and federal courts, and before a variety of administrative agencies. Mr. Rodriguez has participated in the defense of employers in many aspects of employment litigation, including charges of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour claims. In addition to litigation, he has helped draft employee handbooks and various employment policies and practices.
