Lockheed Martin to Pay $115,000 to End EEOC Disability Bias Suit

Lockheed Martin Corp. will pay $115,000 and beef up training in its Crystal City, Va., government and regulatory affairs operations to settle an EEOC suit alleging it failed to accommodate an administrative assistant’s brain injury and instead fired her, Maryland federal court records show.

The consent decree between Lockheed and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission was approved by the U.S. District of Maryland on Wednesday. It resolves a suit the agency filed on behalf of Donna Kerekes in September 2018.
