FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Tim Reed was named FordHarrison’s San Francisco Bay Area Office Managing Partner.

“Tim has contributed tremendously to the growth of our San Francisco Bay Area office since co-founding it in 2018. Tim is a well-rounded lawyer and devotes his practice to representing employers in labor and employment law matters. He has practiced employment law for over ten years and his representation experience includes, but not limited to, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, trade secrets and wage-and-hour claims. Tim concentrates his legal practice on successful representation of management in legal disputes and has resolved numerous matters to the satisfaction of clients.

“FordHarrison seeks to cultivate a workplace that draws on the rich backgrounds and experiences of a diverse team,” said Al. “With Tim’s addition to the management group, the firm has a 25% minority representation in our management group and a 46% representation of minority and/or females overall.”

Tim serves on the National Bar Association’s (“NBA”) Labor and Employment Executive Committee and is a member of the Bay Area’s Charles Houston Bar Association. In June 2020, he was named a 40 Under 40: Nation’s Best Advocates by the NBA. Additionally, last year FordHarrison selected Tim as the firm’s 2019 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow.

Tim is heavily involved in his community and formerly served as a mentor for the Leadership and the World Academy at Florin High School, his former high school in Sacramento, California. Tim also actively contributes to multiple publications including, HR Daily Advisor's EntertainHR blog, FordHarrison's On the Clock blog and FordHarrison's Labor and Employment Law Sourcebook.

“Contributing to the establishment and ongoing growth of FordHarrison’s San Francisco Bay Area office has been one of my greatest sources of professional pride,” said Tim.  “I am looking forward to assuming my new role as Office Managing Partner and continuing to build a talented and dynamic office, along with my FordHarrison teammates here in the Bay Area.”
