New and Final Deadline for EEO-1 Reporting for 2019 and 2020

Topics: Legal Information, New Laws & Legislation

While the EEOC extended its August deadline for mandatory EEO-1 reporting to October 25, 2021, on November 1, 2021, the EEOC indicated that employers will have until November 15, 2021 to comply with mandatory reporting.  However, the EEOC is messaging that no further extensions will be granted, stating “once the November 15, 2021 deadline passes, NO additional 2019 or 2020 EEO-1 Component Reports will be accepted.”  (Emphasis in original).  Therefore, if your enterprise has 100 or more employees, is owned by a company with 100 or more employees, management involves 100 or more employees, or if you are a federal contractor and have not filed these reports, contact your favorite CDF attorney for advice as to how to accomplish this complicated task by November 15.
