Labor-Focused Agencies Mount New Push on Work Retaliation (1)

The federal government’s labor-focused agencies are ramping up efforts to protect workers from unlawful retaliation and highlight the importance of employer safeguards in this area.

The joint effort, announced Wednesday by the U.S. Department of Labor, National Labor Relations Board, and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, builds on existing collaboration and will be aimed at educating employers, labor organizations, and the public about the steady rise in allegations of retaliation when workers exercise their labor rights.
