“Julie co-founded our Charlotte office in 2016 and has contributed greatly to its success,” said Al McKenna, FordHarrison Managing Partner. “She is an extremely talented attorney that has proven she is the right candidate to assume the office managing partner role. I am confident Julie will successfully lead our Charlotte office.”
Julie assists domestic (private and publicly traded) and international businesses of varying sizes, primarily in the healthcare, hospitality, retail, manufacturing, and financial services industries. She represents clients in state and federal courts in both North and South Carolina, and before numerous state and federal administrative agencies, regarding issues arising under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, FMLA, the FLSA, and SOX, among other laws. When she is not in court, Julie conducts and guides privileged and non-privileged investigations and helps her clients develop practical solutions regarding complex and highly sensitive workplace issues. She also creates cutting-edge workplace policies and presents educational programs and interactive trainings for executives, management, and employees regarding workplace culture and values, compliance requirements, and best practices for conducting internal investigations.
