Jackson Lewis Expands Workplace Safety and Health Practice with Addition of Mary L. Bradley

CLEVELAND, OH (November 11, 2020) Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Mary L. Bradley has joined the firm’s Cleveland office. Mary joins Jackson Lewis from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) where she was senior trial attorney. 

“We are thrilled that Mary has decided to join the firm,” said Workplace Safety and Health Practice Group Co-Leaders Courtney M. Malveaux and Melanie L. Paul in a joint statement. “Mary has significant experience handling a wide-range of occupational safety and health law matters, representing OSHA for nearly 20 years, and most recently working with OSHA on its Region 5 COVID-19 Task Force assisting OSHA in determining whether to issue COVID-19 related citations to employers. Her understanding of these issues will strengthen our approach to helping clients navigate these complex challenges currently affecting their businesses day-to-day.”

While at the DOL, Mary provided direction on a wide range of programs administered by the agency. She has experience providing legal services, advice and counseling to DOL’s client agencies in Ohio. In addition to her OSHA experience, she has worked on matters falling under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, Mine Safety and Health Act, and the Immigration and Naturalization Act. Mary has appeared before Administrative Law Judges, U.S. Magistrates, U.S. District Court Judges, and U. S. Bankruptcy Judges and has experience managing all facets of the civil litigation process. 

Mary earned her J.D. from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University and her B.S. from Ohio University.
