Goldberg Segalla added Marcos Zayas to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation group in Manhattan.

Marcos focuses his practice on workers’ compensation defense. He represents insurers, employers, and third-party administrators in all aspects of workers’ compensation claims, including evaluating claims, conducting depositions, negotiating settlements, preparing petitions and motions, and litigating on the client’s behalf. During law school, Marcos gained experience as a student attorney in the New York Law School PTO Trademark Clinic, where he managed the trademark application process, including conducting trademark searches, evaluating the strength of clients’ trademarks, communicating with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and drafting USPTO filings.

Marcos earned his B.A. at Florida International University and his J.D. at the New York Law School.
