FordHarrison Adds Three New Associates to Northeast Offices

Date   May 3, 2021

FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that three new associates, have joined the firm in three different northeastern offices, including New England. Matthew (Matt) T. Clark (Senior Associate), Berkeley Heights; Michael P. Lewis (Associate), Hartford; and Andrew T. Williamson (Senior Associate), New York City, have joined the firm.

Matt has a broad range of experience in employment law litigation including routinely defending clients in claims alleging wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage & hour violations, filed in both federal and state courts. He has also effectively defended employers before the National Labor Relations Board and in contractual arbitration matters. While he is no stranger to litigating a case or representing a client in an administrative agency proceeding, Matt also focuses on providing preventive guidance to help employers avoid public disputes and the courtroom.

Michael’s sole legal focus is the representation and counsel of management clients in issues related to labor and employment law. Prior to joining FordHarrison, Michael was an associate at a Massachusetts-based plaintiff-side law firm where he specialized in civil litigation, white collar crimes, and business law. Prior to law school, Michael served as the New England Vice President of Sales and Management for an international gym chain and was the youngest Vice President in company history.

Andrew represents and counsels businesses in a variety of labor and employment law matters, including claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wage and hour compliance. He has also represented businesses and individuals in matters related to the enforcement of non-compete agreements and has significant experience representing franchisors in commercial litigation involving questions of joint employer status and complex business litigation issues.
