EEOC’s Return-to-Office Plan Violates Labor Law, Union Says (1)

A union representing employees of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has filed an unfair labor practice charge against the agency over its failure to negotiate the terms of its return-to-office policy.

The American Federation of Government Employees Council 216 said Monday that EEOC Chair Charlotte Burrows (D) announced that employees would be required to go back to their offices in early 2022 and that the agency wouldn’t expand a telework program that existed before the Covid-19 pandemic.
