Alison L. Lynch Named Office Managing Principal of Jackson Lewis' Orange County Office

IRVINE, CA (September 9, 2020) Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Alison L. Lynch has been elevated to Office Managing Principal of the firm’s Orange County office, succeeding Samantha N. Hoffman. Ms. Hoffman, a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, will focus on her newly created role of Administrative Liaison on our Board of Directors.

“Since Alison joined the firm in 2008, she has demonstrated a commitment to the success of the Orange County office as well as to the culture of Jackson Lewis,” said Firm Chair Kevin G. Lauri. “The way she has excelled both in the courtroom as well as in her previous leadership roles made Alison a clear choice for this position. Throughout her tenure at the firm, she has earned the confidence of colleagues and clients alike, and I am confident the office will continue to thrive under her management.”

Ms. Lynch, who is Co-Leader of the firm’s internal Practicing and Parenting group and an advocate for improving resources for working parents at the firm, focuses her practice on litigation and preventative counseling for employers. Before taking on the role of Office Managing Principal, Ms. Lynch served as Deputy Office Managing Principal, Office Litigation Manager and Deputy Office Litigation Manager. She has represented management in state and federal courts in numerous areas of employment law including claims of discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, harassment, failure to accommodate disabilities, defamation, breach of contract, fraud, failure to pay wages and a variety of other statutory and common law claims. She also represents employers before state and federal agencies including the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor Standards Enforcement.

“I am excited and honored to take on this new role,” said Ms. Lynch. “Samantha has been an outstanding leader and I look forward to building upon her efforts while creating new opportunities for the Orange County office.”

In addition to her active litigation practice, Ms. Lynch speaks on employment law topics and works with employers in preventative and educational counseling. She has served as an adjunct professor of employment law at Whittier Law School.
