FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Abigail (Abby) J. Larimer has joined the firm’s Atlanta, GA, office as counsel. Abby comes to FordHarrison from Morris, Manning and Martin LLP.

Abby concentrates her legal practice on providing counsel and representation to management clients in matters related to labor and employment law. She is well-versed in representing employers in a wide variety of matters involving restrictive covenants, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and has significant experience counseling employers on issues stemming from regulations under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state wage and hour laws such as employee misclassification, meal and rest breaks, and other wage and hour concerns. Abby also focuses on providing preventive guidance to help clients minimize legal risk and avoid the courtroom. Policy review and revision is another component of Abby's preventive counsel practice, and she routinely works with employers to ensure that their personnel policies align with federal, state, and local employment laws. Also, Abby was recently sworn in as the Chair of the Atlanta Bar Association Labor & Employment Section.

“I am excited to join FordHarrison and look forward to working with all of the talented employees here,” says Abigail. “I believe that FordHarrison’s platform will allow me to provide superior service to my clients and facilitate my growth as an attorney.”
