A Message to Our Community

News & Announcements

Over the last few months, amid a pandemic impacting the globe, racism has taken center stage. We’ve witnessed the deaths of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd. These are just a few of the names we know. Countless others have escaped national attention but were witnessed and grieved by their families and communities.

We will not be silent as these acts of violence and racial injustice continue to occur and impact the Black community. That community is not separate from us. Rather, it is comprised of our Black colleagues, educators, business leaders, and government officials, all of whom we interact with each day, never fully realizing or understanding their pain.

Eradicating racism is the responsibility of each of us. While we acknowledge this may be the hardest work of our time, we are committed to it. We acknowledge that many of us sit in positions of power and privilege, and because of that, it is our duty to look inwardly, understand our role in systems of oppression, actively stand against racism, listen, silence our voices when necessary, and speak up when needed, especially when our privilege and positions afford us the opportunity to do so.

In the words of Desmond Tutu: “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.”

We will not be neutral.

To our clients, colleagues, and friends, we stand with you against racism and all forms of injustice, oppression, and marginalization.
