right to sue letter

A notice of right to sue or right to sue letter is a letter provided by the EEOC giving you permission to bring a lawsuit against your employer.  The letter is not a determination of your legal rights!  It is simply a document letting you know that the EEOC has dismissed your charge and that you have an entitlement to file your claim in court.
