PROBATIONARY PERIOD

During your first [specify period (e.g., ninety days)] of employment, you are a probationary employee. The company will closely monitor your employment during this period. This is also your opportunity to determine whether your position suits you. In short, the probationary period is a mutual opportunity to assess one another.

Of course, the fact that you may successfully complete your probationary period does not mean that you are guaranteed employment. Again, you are at-will employee and may terminate your employment at any time, just as the company may terminate you at any time, with or without cause or notice.

Performance reviews will be conducted for all employees who complete the probationary period.
