CHEMICAL STORAGE SAMPLE
All chemicals must be stored in original labeled containers. Spray bottle contents must be identified with a label. All chemicals must be stored in non-food production areas. Further, all chemicals must be stored by category and apart from one another.
Employees should check the Material Data Safety Sheets(MSDS) for information on storing new chemicals. In the event a leak of unknown origin is discovered in the storage room the employee should alert the manager as soon as possible to determine the level of danger and whether an evacuation is necessary. Any near miss should be reported on the OSHA log.
