Eleventh Circuit Holds That Employee Is Judicially Estopped From Claiming Damages In Discrimination Suit Because Employee Failed to Disclose Suit As An Asset In His Bankruptcy Proceeding.

In Burnes et al. v. Pemco Aeroplex Inc., 101 D.L.R. A-1 (11th Cir. 5/24/02), the Eleventh Circuit held that one of the plaintiffs, Levi Billups, was barred from pursuing damages in his discrimination suit under the doctrine of judicial estoppel.
