Kary Bryant Wolfe is a special counsel in the firm’s Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group and practices from the firm’s Birmingham office. She practices in the areas of employment law and general litigation, and her experience includes the representation of employers in the banking, fabrication and assembly, real estate development, mining, retail, government, and service industries.

Ms. Wolfe has represented employers in discrimination and retaliation cases, at trial and on appeal, including cases brought under Title VII, Section 1981, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA). She also has experience handling claims under the Alabama Workers’ Compensation Act and the Federal Black Lung Act, and provides general day-to-day employment advice for her clients.

In addition to her employment law practice, Ms. Wolfe has experience representing financial institutions in a variety of litigation matters, including cases brought under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). Ms. Wolfe’s general litigation experience also includes representing local and national companies in the areas of products liability, premises liability, commercial contract disputes, and fraud.
