Ashley Wenger advises and represents employers on all types of employment law matters. She has successfully represented clients? interests in state and federal court in Minnesota, obtaining summary judgment and favorable settlements in numerous lawsuits. In addition to employment law matters, Ashley has experience in civil rights cases and commercial litigation, including contract disputes, product liability defense, construction law, and securities class actions. Ashley?s courtroom experience includes second-chairing a jury trial and motion practice on clients? behalf.
While attending the University of Minnesota law school, Ashley served as Supervising Editor of the Minnesota Journal of Law, Science & Technology and Student Director of the UMN?s Child Advocacy Clinic. Following law school, she clerked for the Hon. Thomas J. Kalitowski at the Minnesota Court of Appeals. While receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Ashley was selected as a member of the Chancellor?s Honorary (The Innocent?s Society), Phi Beta Kappa, and the Honors Program. Ashley also served as captain of UNL?s Spirit Squad, cheering at Husker football, basketball, and volleyball games.
Ashley is an active volunteer with the Children?s Law Center and Park Avenue United Methodist Church, where she serves as a member of the church?s Finance Committee and Board of Trustees. Ashley also serves as a member of the Women in the Legal Profession Committee for the Minnesota State Bar Association, Minnesota Women Lawyers, Hennepin County Bar Association, and Federal Bar Association.
