Profile

Christopher Champion Wike is an associate attorney in the Miami office of Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C.  His primary practice is in the field of labor and employment law with an emphasis on litigation.  Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Mr. Wike served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas, where he defended state employees and their respective agencies in state and federal court.  He brings substantial federal jury trial experience to the firm as a result, as well as substantial appellate experience.

Mr. Wike graduated from Baylor University with a degree in music and continues to perform when he has opportunity.  He has performed with many professional symphonies, including the Houston Symphony.  Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Wike attended law school at The University of Texas, where he served on several journals and worked in the Children?s Rights Clinic. 

Mr. Wike is a member of the Texas Bar Association and has a pending application before the Florida Bar.  He is admitted to practice before the United States Courts throughout Texas and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
