Ms. Kuehnel graduated cum laude from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in May of 2009. During her summer between her second and third year of law school, Sarah worked as a summer associate for Ogletree Deakins and has returned upon her graduation to begin her law career with the firm.
While in law school, Sarah was a Staff Editor of Washington University?s Law Review, where she earned the honor of having her note, titled Abstinence-Only Education Fails African Americans, published. In her second year of law school, Sarah worked in her school?s Civil Justice Clinic, where she represented indigent victims of domestic violence. During her last semester of law school, Sarah interned fulltime in Senator Richard Durbin?s Washington D.C. Office, where she worked on the Judiciary Committee. Sarah also participated in a number of other activities, including a service trip to Brazil and Women?s Law Caucus.
