Mr. Natke joined Kamer Zucker Abbott in August 2007. He is a recent graduate of Michigan State University College of Law, graduating in the top fifteen percent of his class. While in law school, Mr. Natke was a member of the Michigan State Law Review, where he served as Articles Editor and Sanctions Chairperson, and had his student note selected for publication. He earned the Jurisprudence Achievement Award for top performance in Labor Arbitration and Sports Law, and gained valuable practical experience working for the Michigan Attorney General?s Office, the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps, and the Honorable Marilyn J. Kelly, Michigan Supreme Court Justice. Mr. Natke also helped form a student organization composed of the Law School?s musicians, who performed for numerous events at the Law College.
Prior to going to law school, Mr. Natke earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Psychology from Alma College, where he presented his senior honors thesis and performed a classical guitar duet at the College?s 2004 Honors Day. In the fall of 2002, Mr. Natke spent a semester overseas in London, England, studying Art and International Politics. A year earlier, he had gathered with several musicians for a campus-wide September 11, 2001 charity concert.
Mr. Natke is a member of the American Bar Association?s Section on Labor and Employment Law, and Nevada?s Howard McKibben American Inn of Court. In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar, hiking, and traveling. Although Mr. Natke enjoys the sun and warm weather of Las Vegas, he remains loyal to Detroit?s professional sports teams, including the Detroit Lions.
