Profile

John G. Lee is an associate in the San Francisco office of Ogletree Deakins. He represents management in all aspects of litigation from inception through resolution.

Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, John practiced plaintiff side employment law, helping to secure settlements and jury verdicts in cases involving a wide variety of issues, including employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. He also has experience in appellate matters related to these cases.

John has also been the handling attorney on dozens of product liability and toxic tort cases. He has extensive experience taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing discovery and dispositive motions, and interacting with clients and third party insurance carriers.

John graduated with a degree in History from the University of California, Davis where he was named an Outstanding Senior and the U.C. Davis Greek Man of the Year. He received his J.D. from U.C. Davis School of Law (King Hall) where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and externed for Justice Rodney Davis of the California Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District.

John is conversational in Mandarin-Chinese and volunteers for Project Homeless Connect in San Francisco and the VIP Mentors Program.
