Stacy M. Bunck is an associate in the firm’s Kansas City office, with over six years experience in employment-related disputes in various forums. She has had extensive litigation experience defending allegations of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful discharge, prosecuting and defending non-compete agreements, and defending FLSA collective actions.Recent successes include:

<li>Obtaining summary judgment for a national drug manufacturer on a claim of age discrimination in federal court in the District of Kansas.,
Obtaining summary judgment for a national drug wholesaler/distributor on a claim of sex discrimination in federal court in the Western District of Missouri.

<li>Obtaining a bench judgment on a stipulated record in a non-compete action brought against three employees of a national business insurance broker in state court in St. Louis County.In addition to employment litigation, Ms. Bunck provides legal advice regarding various employment-related laws and regulations, and conducts a wide range of workplace investigations. Recent such work includes:,

<li>Conducting internal investigations of discrimination and harassment complaints for municipal, manufacturing, and biotechnology clients.

<li>Conducting and assisting in internal I-9, wage/hour, and OFCCP compliance audits for major utility clients. 

A native of Wichita, Kansas, Ms. Bunck worked for a major general practice firm in Kansas City prior to joining Ogletree Deakins in October 2006.  She was President of the Employment Law Section of the Kansas Bar Association in 2005-2006.
