Allyson Smith represents employers in all areas of employment law, including employment discrimination, restrictive covenant, sexual harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, and employment contract disputes.  Ms. Smith litigates cases with the dual goals of achieving a successful legal resolution and effective business results for her clients.In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Smith counsels employers on various employment issues they face each day, including wage and hour issues, affirmative action issues, medical and disability issues, privacy concerns, and all forms of workplace policies. She negotiates and drafts employee-related agreements, including employment agreements, separation and release agreements, and non-confidentiality agreements"all with an eye toward providing her clients the business results they seek, coupled with the strongest legal protections possible. Ms. Smith also advises clients with immigration/expatriate issues in countries such as France, Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg as well as advising with issues relating to the separation of employment such as redundancy and drafting of release agreements in Ireland, France, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bermuda and Bahamas.
