Gray Geddie has been the Managing Shareholder of the firm since January, 2001. Under his leadership, the firm has experienced unprecedented growth in terms of geography, professionalism, and client services. Over the past five years the number of offices has doubled, the annual revenues have more than doubled, and the number of attorneys has increased by nearly 150 lawyers. Ogletree Deakins is presently the third largest labor and employment specialty firm in the United States.In terms of his legal practice, Mr. Geddie is an experienced trial lawyer who has handled cases at the trial and appellate levels for more than thirty years. Admitted to practice in South Carolina and the District of Columbia, his jury trial experience is extensive and that experience has included trials in many substantive areas of the law, including labor and employment, products liability, patent and trade secret litigation, toxic torts, commercial litigation and environmental related cases. He has represented a diverse list of clients and has acted as lead counsel in many of the major cases tried in the southeastern United States in recent years.Mr. Geddie is listed among the Best Lawyers in America according to that publication.  He is a Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, and is certified as a Specialist in Labor and Employment Law by the South Carolina Supreme Court.
