Profile

Jeff Mandel is the managing partner of the Orlando office. He represents private and public-sector employers in all aspects of employment and traditional labor law. Jeff counsels clients on employment issues including: employment discrimination and retaliation, civil rights, disabilities, family and medical leave, wage and hour matters, military leave, employment policies, employment agreements, and non-competition/non-solicitation and trade secret agreements. He also handles employment-related litigation before the state and federal courts and administrative agencies involving claims including discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, FMLA, FLSA, and USERRA. Jeff has extensive experience representing employers in employment-related arbitrations (including AAA, FMCS, and NASD). His practice also includes the representation of employers before the NLRB and the Florida PERC. Jeff is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Labor and Employment and listed in Chambers USA, America?s Leading Business Lawyers, The Best Lawyers in America, Who?s Who Legal USA - Management Labor & Employment, Orlando Business Journal?s “Best of the Bar,” Florida Trend?s “Legal Elite,” and a Florida “Super Lawyer.” Jeff is also a contributing editor of the American Bar Association?s publication, The Fair Labor Standards Act.
