AREAS OF PRACTICE
Ms. Wilson has litigated employment discrimination, contract, and tort cases in both federal and state courts across the country, with success before both juries and judges. Ms. Wilson routinely counsels clients on the proper handling of reorganizations, leaves of absence and reductions in force, and all other aspects of personnel management. While Ms. Wilson is experienced in handling matters referred to alternative dispute resolution, her extensive trial experience is representative of each of the employment law litigators in Littler’s Midwest Minneapolis and Chicago offices.
A member of the American Bar Association and its Labor and Employment Law Section, Ms. Wilson has contributed to employment law publications, and frequently conducts training programs and seminars for all levels of management in various industries on employment-related topics. Such presentations have included minimizing legal risks in the workplace, the proper handling of reductions in force, conducting the “foolproof” employee investigation, and managing the problem employee. Her training programs have addressed harassment in the workplace, with an emphasis on properly conducting sexual harassment investigations. Her representative clients include retailers, newspaper and broadcasting groups, railroads, technological companies, and food manufacturers.
