Mr. Bateman represents both domestic and foreign companies in all facets of labor and employment law in federal and state courts and administrative agencies. Mr. Bateman’s practice includes representing and counseling employers in employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, wage and hour, and traditional labor law matters, including NLRB, arbitration, and injunction proceedings.
Mr. Bateman is a member of the American Bar Association and its Labor and Employment and Litigation Sections. Mr. Bateman is a frequent speaker on labor and employment law matters for bar, trade, and educational groups. Mr. Bateman has also been recognized as a Leading Illinois Attorney in the employment law field.
