AREAS OF PRACTICE
Mr. Schwachter is the managing shareholder of the San Francisco office of Littler Mendelson. He began his career as a litigator with the National Labor Relations Board in Washington, D.C. At the NLRB, he was responsible for arguing unfair employment practice cases in the federal appellate courts throughout the country. Mr. Schwachter has developed a practice specializing in wrongful termination, employment discrimination, and sexual harassment litigation. His clients include print media, agricultural employers, trucking companies, glass manufacturers, mining companies, and electronics manufacturers.
Mr. Schwachter has been quoted on such issues in many periodicals including the New York Times and People magazine. He also recently completed a television interview on sexual harassment for the British Broadcasting Company. He frequently lectures around the country on employment-related issues, including the areas of wrongful termination and harassment litigation.
