We are a Northeast Pennsylvania regional law firm, focusing on employee rights. We believe in holding employers accountable when they violate workers’ rights.

As you might know, Pennsylvania is an employment at-will state, meaning that an employer can terminate an employee without cause and for almost any reason unless the employee is covered by a collective bargaining agreement (CBA), but that’s not to say that employees not covered by a CBA don’t have a recourse for unlawful conduct.

In particular, an employer cannot discharge an employee when the employer is motivated by unlawful bias. That is, employees are protected by both federal and Pennsylvania employment laws that limit an employer’s right to terminate when the employer’s decision is based on things like gender, race, disability, rights of free speech or the need to take family leave.

We provide representation to employees who have been subjected to sexual harassment, a hostile work environment, discrimination because of race, religion, age, gender, pregnancy, or national origin. We also handle cases involving the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) violations, First Amendment Retaliation, Family and Medical Leave Act claims, as well as other employment-related issues.
