Ashley Eley Cannady represents management in employment litigation, general advice, and traditional labor relations matters.  She has represented clients before the National Labor Relations Board and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Ms. Cannady has successfully litigated cases in state and federal courts throughout the region, including Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas and Florida.  Most recently, she has handled matters regarding race and sex discrimination claims, sexual harassment, wrongful termination and retaliation claims,  ADA claims asserted by the EEOC, an FLSA collective action involving multiple plaintiffs, and enforcement of binding arbitration agreements.  Some of her recent successes are reported in E.E.O.C. v. Agro Distribution, LLC, 442 F. Supp. 2d 357 (S.D. Miss. 2006); E.E.O.C. v. Agro Distribution, LLC, 2007 WL 1031649 (S.D. Miss. 2007); Berry v. Advance America, 2007 WL 951590 (S.D. Miss. 2007); Tillman v. Southern Wood Preserving, 2007 WL 1101212 (S.D. Miss. 2007).  , In addition to litigation, Ms. Cannady conducts training for clients on various employment and human resources issues and lectures on employment topics such as payroll management and employee leave issues.
