Joseph W. Bryan(Shareholder)Atlanta Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile Mr. Bryan has more than two decades of experience representing clients in labor and employment law matters before numerous federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and in labor and employment arbitration. In addition to successfully litigating cases involving all major federal employment laws, a substantial portion of Mr. Bryan's practice is devoted to helping employers prevent legal problems through day-to-day counseling, supervisory training, and assistance with matters such as mergers and acquisitions, reductions in force, wage and hour issues, dispute resolution systems, employee participation plans, communications programs, attendance programs, drug and alcohol testing, and discipline and discharge. A certified mediator and skilled negotiator, Mr. Bryan frequently represents clients in collective bargaining, mediation and other forms of alternate dispute resolution. Mr. Bryan is a former chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association, and is an active member of the Federal Bar Association and the Stonewall Bar Association of Georgia. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Cobb County Symphony Orchestra and the Board of Directors of Covenant Community, Inc. He is the author of numerous articles relating to labor and employment matters, and a frequent speaker at management training seminars and continuing legal education programs.
