Debra J. Brooks(Associate)Indianapolis Employment Lawyer Lawyer Profile Ms. Brooks received her J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis in 2006, where she graduated magna cum laude. While attending the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis, Ms. Brooks served on the Indiana International & Comparative Law Review, first as a Member and then as Editor-in-Chief in her final year. Originally from Logansport, Indiana, Ms. Brooks received her undergraduate degree in business marketing from Ball State University. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Brooks enjoyed 11 years of professional experience, including six years in corporate human resource management. She led the human resource department for a multi-state corporation, overseeing all aspects of the employment relationship. Ms. Brooks also represented a company in employment issues during mergers and acquisitions, dispute resolutions and a corporate reorganization. Ms. Brooks concentrates her practice primarily in the areas of employment and labor law, including all types of civil rights and employment-related claims.
