Lawyer Profile
Ms. Brandon has extensive experience advising clients on all aspects of employee benefit plans, including drafting and compliance of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans and welfare benefit plans. She has provided advice to employers on employee benefits and executive compensation issues in mergers and acquisitions, fiduciary duties and investment of plan assets, Department of Labor and Internal Revenue Service audits on employee benefit plans, compliance issues under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA") and the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 ("COBRA"), and analysis of pending legislation as it affects employee benefits. Ms. Brandon also serves as fund counsel to various multiemployer plans, and as counsel to the trustees of employee stock ownership plans.

Ms. Brandon has been a frequent seminar lecturer on 401(k) plans, fiduciary issues and HIPAA.
