Beverly Baker has practiced in the area of employment law for over 20 years. She has handled wrongful termination cases, discrimination claims, wage and hour disputes and sexual harassment claims. She assists employers to develop policies and programs to comply with state and federal employment laws including developing employee handbooks, policies and practices, conducting internal investigations, and negotiating employment-related agreements, such as non-compete covenants, confidentiality agreements and severance agreements. Ms. Baker conducts on-site employee and management training on a variety of employment issues affecting the workplace.

Ms. Baker also practices alternative dispute resolution. She is an arbitrator on the employment and consumer panels of the American Arbitration Association, and on the commercial and employment panels of the National Arbitration Forum and National Arbitration Mediation (NAM). She has also been certified as a Mediator and has successfully mediated a variety of employment related matters.  Ms. Baker has also served as a Commissioner on the Commission on Opportunities for Minorities in the Profession and on the Litigation Section Council.  She is also a Fellow of the American Association of University Women.
