Shane Anderies(Associate)Shaw Valenza LLP Lawyer Profile Shane K. Anderies is an associate in Shaw Valenza's San Francisco office. Shane provides training, advice, and counsel to public and private sector employers on subjects ranging from harassment, discrimination, and retaliation prevention; to respect and professionalism in the workplace; diversity; wage and hour compliance; and managing protected leaves of absence. He represents employers in litigation before federal, state, and local courts and administrative agencies. Shane graduated from the University of San Francisco in 1998 (B.A.) with honors. He received his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2001, where he was the comments editor of the Law Review. He was a judicial extern for the Honorable John E. Munter of the San Francisco Superior Court. He has published or contributed to several articles on various employment law topics in legal and trade publications and academic journals, including a comment on employment arbitration published in the University of San Francisco School of Law’s Law Review and cited in B.E. Witkin’s California Procedure, 4th ed. Shane a member of The Guardsmen, a San Francisco service organization consisting of 150 business and professional members devoted to advancing at-risk Bay Area youth by funding indoor and outdoor educational programs. He also is involved in the Embarcadero Chapter of Business Networking International, for which he served as President in 2007, and the Lawyers Networking Group.
