Casey is an associate attorney practicing in the employment law group. Before joining Gray Plant Mooty, Casey taught at-risk students at schools in Boston, Massachusetts and Portland, Oregon. While in law school, Casey assisted in researching issues concerning the Alien Tort Claims Act and the effect of invalid reservations on a country's consent to be bound by international human rights treaties.

In 1999, Casey received her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Boston University. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Hamline University School of Law in 2005. While in law school, Casey served as an Associate and a Primary Editor on the Hamline Law Review from 2003 - 2005.
