Cynthia S. Sandoval(Of Counsel)Shaw Valenza LLP Lawyer Profile Cynthia Sandoval is of counsel with Shaw Valenza LLP. Cynthia’s practice primarily includes training management on various employment law subjects, including harassment, discrimination, managing employees with disabilities, hiring practices, how to avoid wrongful termination, leaves of absences, and wage and hour traps for the unwary. Cynthia is bilingual and conducts training in both English and Spanish. She has also been a guest speaker at the national SHRM and ACC conferences. In addition to management training, Cynthia has conducted sensitive and complex investigations, sometimes involving high level executives. Cynthia also has extensive experience litigating employment law matters. She has won numerous summary judgment motions and appeals, including in multi-plaintiff lawsuits. Cynthia has handled numerous administrative complaints with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Labor Commissioner. Prior to joining Shaw Valenza, Cynthia was an associate with Jackson Lewis LLP (San Francisco) where her practice focused exclusively on employment law. Cynthia graduated from U.C. Los Angeles in 1993 (B.A. Economics).
