Lawyer Profile
Alan M. Pittler represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. He has successfully litigated a wide variety of employment matters before state and federal agencies and courts, including discrimination, wrongful discharge, employee benefits (ERISA), wage and hour, harassment, privacy and defamation claims.

Alan also has extensive experience representing and advising employers in union-related matters, including organizing efforts, collective bargaining, contract administration, labor arbitrations and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board. In addition, Alan regularly counsels employers and trains managers on labor and employment issues.

Alan represents a diverse group of clients, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, restaurants, hotels, colleges, chemical manufacturers, food processors, trade schools, insurance companies, professional practices and telecommunications providers.

He has been recognized as one of the top young lawyers in Pennsylvania by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers — Rising Stars Edition in 2005 and 2006. In 2006, Alan was selected among America's Leading Business Lawyers by Chambers USA.
