Elizabeth A. Malloy(Shareholder)Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC Lawyer Profile Elizabeth A. Malloy focuses her practice on employment litigation, trial and appellate work and preventive counseling. She has represented employers in a variety of litigation matters, including sexual harassment, gender, race, national origin, disability and age discrimination cases. She has also handled cases arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, wrongful discharge, defamation and other state law and constitutional claims. Liz was an attorney with Klett Rooney Lieber & Schorling when it joined Buchanan Ingersoll in 2006. She has tried jury and non-jury cases in a variety of jurisdictions involving gender, race, national origin and age discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation and breach of employment agreements. Liz's practice also includes counseling employers on issues including compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act, sexual harassment investigations, reductions-in-force, discipline and terminations, affirmative action plans and personnel policies. She often provides training to employers on recognizing and preventing sexual harassment and has served as investigator in complex harassment cases. Among Liz's notable representations, she has: Liz is an adjunct lecturer at the Villanova University School of Law, where she teaches courses on employment law. She is a frequent speaker to employer groups on a variety of topics. Recognized in the 2005 and 2006 Client's Guide of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business, Liz is listed among the top attorneys in the United States in the employment area.
