Giotto concentrates his entire practice on representing management in many aspects of labor, employment and employment-related litigation. He counsels clients in a wide range of industries and business sectors. Thomas devotes much of his practice to traditional labor law, which includes representing employers during union organizing campaigns, collective bargaining and grievance arbitrations. He also represents employers in litigation involving race, sex, sexual harassment, age and disability discrimination, and against claims alleging violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, COBRA, and wrongful discharge and related common law claims. Thomas was an attorney with Klett Rooney Lieber & Schorling when it joined Buchanan in 2006. While in law school, he worked for U.S. Steel Corp. in labor relations. He has spoken on many occasions to lawyers and employer groups on a range of employment law topics.
