Thomas P. Hubert(Partner)Jones Walker Lawyer Profile Mr. Hubert has a broad range of experience representing employers in the defense of employment discrimination and other employment law claims, (including covenant not to compete agreements, worker’s compensation litigation, defamation, and intentional infliction of emotional distress claims) both in state and federal courts and in proceedings before administrative agencies. He has successfully defended employers in both jury and judge trials throughout the south and southeastern states. In addition, he regularly assists management concerning union organizing drives, representation elections, union decertification, and the defense of unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board. As part of Mr. Hubert’s practice, he trains and counsels managers and supervisors in employee relations and human resources administration, compliance with the various labor and employment laws, and the avoidance of employment law claims, litigation, and union organizing.
