Lisa M. Passarello(Senior Attorney)Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC Lawyer Profile Lisa M. Passarello is a senior attorney with the Labor and Employment Law Section of Buchanan Ingersoll. Lisa has handled a variety of employment and labor law matters, including litigating employment discrimination cases before state and federal courts and administrative agencies, and arbitration and mediation issues under the Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, Title VII and the Occupational Safety and Health Act. She has also assisted in union avoidance, handled non-compete litigation, counseling and human resource consulting on federal and state employment laws for small to large companies. Lisa's recent representations include: Previously an associate with another national law firm, Lisa handled labor and employment matters that focused on public sector liability and municipal litigation in state and federal courts and administrative agencies. In addition, she represented municipalities and local governmental bodies in employment litigation and labor disputes. Involved with the local community, Lisa is a board member of the Pittsburgh Dance Alloy and co-chair of the Animal Friends' Young Professionals Committee Capital Campaign. In addition, she has served as an adjunct professor at Saint Francis College Graduate School of Industrial Relations from 1995-1996 and as an assistant adjunct professor at Pennsylvania State University from 1992 through the 1994 spring semester. Lisa earned her law degree from the Western New England College School of Law in 1991. She graduated from Washington and Jefferson College in 1988 with a bachelor of arts degree in political science.
