Ibie Adeyeye(Associate)Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC Lawyer Profile Ibie Adeyeye is an associate in the Pittsburgh office of Buchanan Ingersoll PC where she is a member of the firm's Labor and Employment Section. Ibie received her J.D. degree in 2005 from the Georgetown University Law Center. While in law school, Ibie served as a government affairs intern for the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association in Washington, D.C., where she completed post-election legislative and mapping analysis for the State Affairs Group. Ibie also holds a B.A. degree in political science from Syracuse University. Committed to community service, Ibie is a mentor in the CLAAY Program (Career Literacy for African American Youth), an organization that provides mentoring opportunities for area youth. She also volunteers as a special assistant to the director of Drugs for AIDS and HIV Patients (DAHP), a nonprofit organization focused on improving the quality of life for Nigerians living with HIV/AIDS. With offices in the United States and Nigeria, DAHP not only provides anti-retroviral medicines and career assistance to HIV/AIDS patients, but also offers pharmaceutical training and educational programs to hundreds of healthcare workers across Nigeria. Ibie is a past recipient of the Robert B. Menschel Public Service Intern Award from Syracuse University, as well as Mount Lebanon Township's Outstanding Citizen of the Year award for founding Acts of Kindness, a program that involved high school juniors in community service.
