His practice includes a joint emphases in labor and employment law and in securities litigation and arbitration. John has represented employers in the defense of race, age, gender, sexual harassment, and disability discrimination claims, in both federal court trial practice and in proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He also advises clients concerning human resources practices and compliance. John has represented corporate clients in shareholder class actions and individual lawsuits under federal and state securities laws, and has defended securities firms and individuals in securities arbitration proceedings. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Steven D. Merryday, United States District Judge for the Middle District of Florida, from 1999-2001.
