Lawyer Profile
Jonathan Rees represents a wide array of businesses and educational institutions in employment matters. He handles litigation involving civil rights, disability, and discrimination claims before federal and state courts and agencies. Jonathan also has considerable experience in other employment matters such as wrongful termination, defamation, university tenure, and breach of contract issues. His practice includes individual cases and federal class actions, mediations, and arbitrations. In addition to litigation, Jonathan counsels and advises clients on many employment issues, including personnel policies and practices.

While attending law school, Jonathan served on the editorial board of the Virginia Law Review and as Notes Editor for the Virginia Journal of International Law. Following graduation from law school, he clerked for the Honorable John M. Steadman of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
