Wendy Brenner(Associate)Cooley Godward Kronish LLP. Lawyer Profile Wendy J. Brenner is an associate in the Employment & Labor practice group and a member of the Cooley Godward Litigation department. She joined the Firm in 1998 and is resident in the Palo Alto office. Ms. Brenner's practice includes both employment counseling and litigation. She has represented employers in litigation matters in federal and state court on a wide variety of claims, including harassment and discrimination, wrongful termination, trade secret theft and unfair competition. She has also represented employers in mediations and arbitrations, as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the California Labor Commissioner and other administrative agencies. Ms. Brenner's counseling practice includes hiring and terminating employees, personnel policies and procedures, executive compensation agreements, proprietary information and trade secret protection, workplace investigations, and compliance with state and federal employment law requirements. Ms. Brenner received a J.D. from the University of California Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law. While there, she interned for Judge Charles A. Legge in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California. She received a B.A. in Political Science with honors from Stanford University in 1993.
