Chaise Bivin(Associate)Cooley Godward Kronish LLP. Lawyer Profile Chaise Bivin is an associate in the Cooley Godward Litigation department. He joined the Firm in 2002 and is a resident of the San Diego office. Mr. Bivin’s practice focuses on general business litigation, including complex commercial litigation, securities litigation, intellectual property disputes, and employment matters. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bivin was a litigation associate at Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP. Mr. Bivin received his J.D. in 1999 from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where he was elected to Order of the Coif. During law school, Mr. Bivin served as an extern to the Honorable Harry L. Hupp of the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. Mr. Bivin received a B.A. in Government from the University of Redlands in 1996, where he earned membership in Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Bivin is admitted to the United States Supreme Court, all State and Federal Courts of California, including the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
