Steven J. Teplinsky(Partner)Michael Best & Friedrich LLP Lawyer Profile Steve Teplinsky is a partner and a member of the firm's Management Committee. He represents business and public sector clients in all aspects of employment and labor law. Mr. Teplinsky's primary focus is on employment litigation before courts, administrative agencies and arbitrators. He also spends a great deal of time working with clients on preventative measures, developing and implementing policies and counseling on day to day employment issues. He has argued more than 75 appeals in various State and Federal Appellate Courts on a wide variety of matters. From 1978 to 1980, he served as an Illinois Assistant Attorney General. Mr. Teplinsky served as an instructor and adjunct professor at both the Chicago-Kent College of Law and The John Marshall Law School. Mr. Teplinsky frequently presents speeches, seminars and training sessions on numerous employment law topics, including sexual harassment, hiring, termination, contingent workforce, FMLA and American with Disabilities Act. He serves as a member of the of firm’s Diversity Committee. Mr. Teplinsky has been selected by his peers to the Leading Lawyers Network among Labor and Employment Law attorneys.
